Inward Remittance and Outward Remittance through 3 channels: Draft, S.W.I.F.T. and Coinstar Money Transfer (CMT)
  1. Draft issued by alliance bank to Correspondent Bank or KTB oversea branch to pay the amount as identified on the draft to the recipient as identified on the draft.
  2. The service is for the draft denominated in foreign currency, payable to banks in foreign countries via telegraph (S.W.I.F.T.)
  3. Coinstar Money Transfer (CMT) – New international fund transfer service via internet through which you can transfer funds to receipts around the world within 5 minutes. No KTB account is needed. Simply show your ID card or passport together with CMT number, you can transfer or receive funds at any branches with Coinstar Money Trasfer (CMT) sign.
Inward CMT Method
  1. Recipient in Thailand informs CMT Number
  2. Contact the bank with Coinstar Money Trasfer (CMT) sign to fill in the Money-Receiving Form and show ID card or passport of recipient
  3. Receive the fund in Baht and a copy of the Money-Receiving Form
Outward CMT Method
  1. Complete the Money-Sending Form
  2. Submit the form and show your ID card or passport as well as pay the transferred amount by cash in Baht and transfer fee.
  3. Keep a copy of the Money-Sending Form which includes details of transfer – Sender, Recipient, Amount, Destination Country, and CMT Number.
  4. Sender must inform CMT Number to recipient to receive the fund at CMT branches worldwide.
Inward CMT Method
  1. Recipient in Thailand informs CMT Number
  2. Contact the bank with Coinstar Money Trasfer (CMT) sign to fill in the Money-Receiving Form and show ID card or passport of recipient
  3. Receive the fund in Baht and a copy of the Money-Receiving Form

Fee: 200 Baht/draft, Duty stamp 3 Baht

Fee: 0.25% of transferred amount (min 200 Baht, max 500 Baht)
