| Easy Pass top-up fees exemption extended |
Krung Thai Bank is going to extend exemption period for Easy Pass top-up fees via ATMs and the internet and is preparing to expand other channels e.g. the Bank’s branches. The Bank has joined hands with Expressway Authority of Thailand to launch the Easy Pass top-up service through the Bank’s ATMs and the internet since May 2011. As a result, the Bank became the leader in providing that service. Ms. Sriprapha Pringpong, Senior Executive Vice President, Managing Director, Government & State Enterprise Relations Group, Krung Thai Bank PCL. disclosed that due to overwhelming responses from customers, the Bank decided that their customers would continue enjoying exemption till this Oct 31. Such extension is to facilitate customers and return their favor. The cards can be loaded with different values between 500-5,000 baht via more than the Bank’s 8,100 ATMs nationwide or through the internet 24/7. Moreover, customers will still get a special 25 baht on top with every 500 baht top-up.
