KTB actively helps flood-hit victims

Krung Thai Bank released full-range measures to ease up industrial and retail customers inflicted by floods. The Bank will lend for boosting their liquidity and business renovation while customers have no need to pay for principle lasting 6 months.

Mr. Weidt Nuchjalearn, Senior Executive Vice President, Managing Director, Krung Thai Bank PCL. disclosed that the bank was concerned about customers and people encountering the floods so it sent credit officers to visit and monitor loss closely ,as well as, gave preliminary helps as deemed necessary and in accordance with loss incurred in, for example, Sukhothai and Nakhinsawan province.

The Bank is now offering loans for entrepreneurs to restore their business, including buildings, plants, companies, machineries, and inventories. It is also providing working capital to enhance customers’ liquidity. Besides, those not wanting extra loans or retail customers are going to get a special service of free principal repayment period for maximum 6 months. Moreover, it will make extra loans and provide special loans rate for after-flood development of municipality, the installment will be 60 months maximum. Interest will be charged at the fix rate of 4% p.a. for the first 6 months and after that, it will be collected with the amount of 6 month-fixed deposit rate plus 1.65 % per year of margin.

Mr. Weidt Nuchjalearn further stated that customers had been exempted from fee upon transferring money to help flood victims as the bank always did and inflicted entrepreneurs are able to restore their business, and repair their machineries and tools in a special price through KTB Fight the Flood Business Matching plan.
