“Despite the fluctuation of 2010’s index due to the political unrest in the second and the flood inflicting people nationwide in the third quarter, it quickly picked up in the next quarter. Moreover, the index was higher than usual (50) for four consecutive quarters, reflecting strength of the nation’s fundamental business administration and the government’s economic recovery schemes.”

Ms. Patcharasiri Kiatkumjai further states that the survey result shows that confidence index in the next three months increases; up to 50.56 from 48.19 in the prior period, which is a good sign. Such index is a result from the government’s economic stimulus measure and higher agriculturists’ incomes.
