KTB Highlights the Partnership with Major Cineplex Group

          Mr. Vorapak Tanyawong, President of Krungthai Bank, and Mr. Vicha Poolvaraluck, Chief Executive Officer of Major Cineplex Group, jointly opened the event “Love Movie Love KTB : KTB Lounge Opening Party” with the purpose of broadening happiness and bringing more entertainment to the customers after becoming a partnership. KTB has implemented Movie Marketing strategy by becoming Naming Sponsor for Major Cineplex Group, who provides the world’s best cinema and entertainment complex, under the label “KTB Digital Cinema”. In this event, KTB launched 8 KTB Digital Cinemas for customers and non-customers to initially preview the Hunger Games: Catching Fire as well as debuted KTB Lounge so as to render further comfortable to customers. KTB Lounges are available at Paragon Cineplex Cinema as well as 4 cinemas in Bangkok and other provinces with the intention to exhibit the image of the modern Bank. Participants in the event were executives and also a large number of Bank’s customers and non-customers. 
 

          Mr. Vorapak Tanyawong stated that Krungthai Bank has been considered as Thailand leading commercial bank with customer base approximately 17 million accounts scattering nationwide and covering various customer segments namely corporate, SME, government sector, government officer, state enterprise officer and retail customers. However, the Bank paves the way to extend its services for private sector especially young generation and aspires to render a variety of service with special value to the customer, resulting in becoming a partnership with Major Cineplex Group, Thailand’s leading Lifestyle Entertainment Company with full-range of advertising services, and being Naming Sponsor of 54 KTB Digital Cinemas nationwide in order to accomplish customers’ satisfaction in each segment.
 

          “The event “Love Movie Love KTB : KTB Lounge Opening Party” was regarded as an extension of our entertainment activities by opening 8 KTB Digital Cinemas for 2,000 customers and non-customers to initially preview the adventure movie “the Hunger Games: Catching Fire”. Furthermore, KTB Lounge has been launched simultaneously at Paragon Cineplex and other 4 different cinemas including at Fashion Island, Phra Pin Klao, Ratchayotin and Korat with the intention to continuously use as spaces in organizing activities for customers.”
 

          Mr. Vicha Poolvaraluck also added that this was once again a good opportunity to become a partnership with Krungthai Bank in collaborating to generate the further entertainment phenomenon. The Company aimed to respond to the changing lifestyle of young generation who seeks for variety types of entertainment. Therefore, the Major Cineplex Group, Total Lifestyle Entertainment with full-range of advertising services, has established a partnership with KTB as the Strategic Partner and let KTB becoming the Naming Sponsor of KTB Digital Cinema in order to broaden the network of lifestyle entertainment. However, to work with the strategic partner that shares the same operational vision as KTB is not only counting as the establishment of business alliance but also regarding as the means of the Sponsorship Marketing in form of Movie Marketing.
 

          The KTB Lounge opening at Paragon Cineplex shall render further comfort and convenience to the customers during their movie time at KTB Digital Cinema. Major Cineplex Group and Krungthai Bank strive to widen convenient services and generate different experiences to the customers continuously.
