Core Banking System
Core Banking System is the improved and bank’s systematic working scheme. By integrating such separated critical working systems as deposit-withdrawal, loan and accounting, employees are comfortably work for supporting bank’s strategies of being “Convenience Bank” and “Processing Bank”. These projects begin with loan in 2002 and deposit-withdrawal in 2004, completely operating in April 2005. The benefits gained from system: supporting work with individual customer in focus instead of customer-centric, creating and supporting multi channel customer service such as electronic machine (ATM, ADM, Passbook Update Machine) and Internet, etc., supporting 24-Hour service (Real Time 24x7), allowing to shortly organize, design and evaluating service (Straight Through Processing), combining with other banking systems (Integrated Banking System), supporting bank’s strategies of being The Processing Bank and The Convenience Bank (Strategic Intent), supporting branch operation in marketing and services (Marketing & Point-of-Services), easily designing systematic operation (Process Redesign), being the Back Office service center for organizations and bank’s branches (Centralized Back Office System), supporting future IT expansion and development (Technology Infrastructure)
Government Fiscal Management Information System (GFMIS)
KTB was assigned by The Secretariat of the Cabinet to manage budget plan and management, revenue and expense, treasury reserve for public sector, Accrual Basis Accounting System, E-Deposit, monitoring and evaluating system, analyzing data system and Online Real-Time Management including to apply systematic service and maintenance and banking and financial management to Government Fiscal Management Information System (GFMIS) since its starting operation of October 1, 2004 - September 30, 2006 and with a renewed contract to the present. GFMIS was officially under Ministry of Finance since January 12, 2007. Nowadays, KTB is in charge of GFMIS 2007 operation and maintenance (O&M) for the period of one year starting on October 1, 2006 - September 30, 2007 with extending a contract from October 1, 2007- September 30, 2008 and engage Krung Thai Computer Services, our subsidiary, to operate such duty on behalf of KTB.
