Emphasizing on four significant dimensions; Education, Arts and Culture, Society and Environment including Sport, KTB aims to create “Intellectual Capital” among people in society by arranging Corporate Social Responsibility or CSR stimulating giving awareness with learning support nationwide to make a strength and sustainability for society.
Educational Contribution
KTB starting operates “Krung Thai Weaving Dream School” since 2005 in 93 schools around country aiming to provide public’s education, reduce country’s settlement and expand educational opportunities.
We also organize student for community project by arranging “Bank for School” to provide them financial and banking knowledge and how to save money, along with “KTB Good Books for Youth” to open their minds and have better aspects.
Moreover, “Krung Thai Weaving Dream Student”, Krung Thai scholarship for high school children in “Krung Thai Weaving Dream School”, gives Thai youth the educational opportunities to further study in leading governmental universities.
Other KTB educational project, we provide:
“KTB Young Reporters” to share our knowledge and experiences for being good reporters based on moral ethics
“KTB Young Enterprise Awards” for high school and vocational students, to give them knowledge of basic business operation
“KTB Business Ethic Initiative” for undergraduate students, to create business ethnics under sufficiency economy
“KTB Lecture Series” to share public opinions, experiences, knowledge and concepts with qualified people in many fields
Arts and Culture Contribution
We organize “Krung Thai Arts and Culture Contribution” for Thai artists to support National Exhibition of Art, arranged by Silpakorn University, since 2003 and grant Purchasing Prize to inspire new generation young artists to create further creative artworks.
Also, we have “KTB Sculpture Park” located at Kung Thai Bank Training Center, Khao Yai for displaying Purchasing Prize Sculpture in combination with nature, and we reconstruct KTB Yaowarat branch for being “KTB Art Gallery” to display and conserve Thai traditional art. KTB Art Gallery is available for public with free of charge.
With art value awareness, we create “KTB Art Lover Club” to stimulate employees to utilize the best of their time in creative leisure which helps stress relief.
Social & Environmental Contribution
We launch a pilot project under Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to improve public’s life quality and provide educational opportunities for schoolchildren in the backcountry.
“KTB Green Environment” shows our environment and energy saving awareness in building and reconstructing building designing to save energy and using environmental friendly materials.
In addition, “KTB Volunteers Club” campaigns to urge employees’ environment loving and helping society along with “KTB Growing Green” to create green organizational culture and stimulate public of global warming.
“KTB Green @ Heart” alerts Thai youth natural resource’s love and care. We drive them to join “Eco-School” project collaborated with Thailand Environment Institute to improve environment and energy saving management leading to global warming relief while being learning and practice school center for other schools and communities. Such projects are good ideal for further sustainable development.
Beyond that, we join “Shred 2 Share” with Infosave Co.,Ltd, a manufacturer of SCG Paper, being a role model of information security and a part of giving society in return along with helping global warming relief.
With our best effort, we won many environment and energy saving prizes from institutions making us proud and having inspiration to continually conduct new projects to society.
Sport Contribution
We consider sport’s importance and benefits in making good health, supporting sportsmanship and being patient including creating unity, we organize “KTB Young Footballers” to provide appropriate way to play football.
