Four dimensions for KTB social and environmental responsibility by Dr. Chaiwat Wibulsawat, Executive Director and Advisor for Corporate Governance and Social and Environmental Responsibility, objects to create CSR framework leading to continually learning support and development for public nationwide with four working operations:
1. Continually Operating
We object to create continually “Intellectual Capital” in both operated projects and extending main projects for social and environmental interest to reach our goals
2. Project Combining
We create project network to combine and extend project results to meet the highest benefits for society and environment
3. KTB employees participating
We arouse our employees social and environmental responsibility and urge them to participate bank’s projects and activities as follows:
• Committee
Bank’s committee has important role on policy support by giving others advice, knowledge and sharing various experiences to make social and environmental projects and activities be the best
• Executive Committee
ซึ่งประกExecutive committee consists of executives and senior executives with important roles of achieving project operation’s goal, both budget approval and operation monitoring. Moreover, they are responsible for project administration and activities participant.
• Employees
Employees are the key factor for concrete social and environmental projects. Not only being responsible for their own assignments, but also participating bank’s activities with
sacrifice and sincerity.
4. Powerful Operation with Alliance Network
Beyond social and environmental projects, we connect and expand external alliance network for cooperation and try our best devoting to all those projects to make them succeed and give society much more interest.
However, for CSR operation, Dr. Chaiwat Wibulsawat commented that KTB needed to allocate budget economically and reasonably by using volunteers and utilizing taxation in order to stimulate public’s participation including to support and extend project results’ benefits and values.
In addition, our CSR projects are not launched to follow the trend. We have been conducted social projects continually and seriously to form intellectual capital because we strongly believe that wisdom is a sustainable capital which never used up and have a higher value along the time. Importantly, it sustainably improves our society.
