Corporate Governance Principles

Krung Thai Bank has created the written policies and guidance in accordance with the Good Governance Guidance from the Stock Exchange of Thailand for more than six years, since 2002.

Seven Corporate Governance Policies are as follows:

1) Creation of Long Term Value: Creating sustainable value-adds
2) Accountability: Taking charge in one’s duty
3) Responsibility: Being aware of one’s obligation
4) Promotion of Best Practices: Promoting excellent practices
5) Equitable Treatment: Treating all stakeholders equitably
6) Transparency: Demonstrating transparency in works
7) Social and Environmental Awareness: Caring for Society and Environment

These seven Corporate Governance Policies are well communicated throughout the bank’s employees in all level using many different kinds of media. The policies are incorporated in every unit’s mission to ensure every practice comply with the policies. Our board of directors realizes the importance and account for the bank’s highest interest. We ensure transparency of information, fair conduct with all shareholders, adhere social responsibility, and that all employees are good citizens. In addition, we also take parts in many projects to continuously conserve the environment, help develop social communities, and support local intellectual.
